IWIRE North Texas Inc., Industrial Women in Real Estate, is dedicated to creating a dynamic, and supportive environment for women in the industrial real estate business who are transactional professionals from a variety of firms, specialties, and all levels of experience in the North Texas market.
OVERVIEW
Please review the available positions and complete the application form below by 5PM CT on July 2, 2026. We will review all applications with the utmost care and consideration. This application will be used for placement on the Leadership Team. Positions on the Leadership Team are not guaranteed.
A leadership retreat will be held in early August (selected candidates expected to attend the retreat), and the new leadership team will be announced publicly at the ’26-’27 Fiscal Year Kick Off Happy Hour later that month.
Leadership Team calls fall every other Wednesday at 3PM. Committee calls are to be scheduled by the leader of that committee. All those applying must ensure they can actively participate on any IWIRE NTX call or meeting. As a committee member, you are representing IWIRE NTX and are expected to participate in events and serve as an advocate for the organization.
Candidates will be interviewed by the IWIRE North Texas Board between July 6-July 22, with selection and notification planned by July 24th.

AVAILABLE POSITIONS
EVENTS COMMITTEE
Individuals will be trained by our VP Events. Committee members may be included on certain Leadership Team Calls.

IWIRE NTX has approximately 5-7 events throughout the year. Events include Lunch & Learns, Site Tours, Holiday Happy Hours, Social Events, and our large Fiscal Year Happy Hour.
​
The Events team does not oversee any philanthropic events or the IWIRE Connect group events.
Responsibilities:

Actively participate in meetings and contribute to the discussion. Committee members may be asked to take minutes during each events committee meeting to ensure nothing is missed.

Brainstorm and share innovative ideas. Events should range from educational to social.

Research event ideas to stay up to date with the current industrial market.

Keep a log of all future event ideas, locations, and concepts.

Help towards implementing events throughout the year. Committee members will follow the lead and participate towards the committee work plan. This may include calling event locations, finalizing the booking, creating an agenda, and actively communicating with those involved..

Assist when needed on coordinating date/time/locations for Board Happy Hours, Dinners, or Events.

Work with Sponsorship committee if there is an Event Sponsor for that event.
MARKETING & MEDIA COMMITTEE
Committee members work alongside the VP Marketing & Media to support IWIRE North Texas’ visibility, growth, and overall brand presence. The team operates collaboratively with the broader Leadership Team and contributes to a cohesive, consistent approach across all marketing efforts.

Committee members support a range of marketing and media initiatives, with opportunities to take ownership of areas aligned with their strengths while contributing to overall team priorities. Individuals will be empowered to bring forward creative and innovative ideas to shape the future of IWIRE’s marketing platform. This role also offers a path for individuals interested in future leadership opportunities within IWIRE North Texas.
Responsibilities (to be shared):

Support updates to the IWIRE North Texas website via the WIX platform, including events, leadership information, and sponsor content

Create and manage social media content on LinkedIn including events, philanthropy, and IWIRE Connect promotions, recaps, and highlights

Develop and deploy email campaigns (events, newsletters, organizational updates)

Develop graphics for digital and social media

Collaborate with the IWIRE Board on content

Support sponsor promotion including communications, updates, and key announcements

Ensure all content aligns with IWIRE North Texas brand standards

Help maintain marketing platforms and tools
